VoCALL Addressable Voice Communication

VoCALL 16 is a panel designed to enhance the reputation of installers and specifiers. From specification through to commissioning and service, at each stage everything has been designed to minimise time on site and to meet the evolving needs of building owners.

Taking experience form our addressable fire panels and the increased safety of a loop system we decided that VoCALL 16 must be a loop based system as a life safety product.

Capable of communicating and powering the system from both ends, the VoCALL 16 loop also has the benefit of isolators which compartmentalise any fault in the cabling meaning a single cable fault will not result in the loss of any outstation. Eaton's VoCALL 16 is an advanced Emergency Voice Communication System that is digital, loop-driven, and intelligent. It offers a straightforward and user-friendly interface with sophisticated features.

This network version is capable of accommodating up to 32 main panels (MX) and network panels (NX) in any combination (at least one MX is required). With a maximum of 16 outstations per panel, the system can support a total of 512 outstations. All outstations are connected and communicate via isolated, fault-tolerant loops, using digital audio communication to ensure high audio quality and intelligibility during emergencies.

By using isolated loops, the system reduces labor and material costs, as well as the potential for wiring errors that are common with traditional spur systems. The VoCALL 16 is also designed to enable simple expansion in the future. Continuous fault monitoring and reporting ensures high availability, and extensive time stamped logs make it easy to debug and remain compliant.

With a range of soft addressed digital outstations and an intuitive laptop configuration tool, the VoCALL 16 system is simple to operate, easy to cable, and competitively priced. It is suitable for a wide range of applications.
